Executive Team
David Webb - CEO and Founder
David has over 15 years of experience with software development, specifically in the staffing and recruitment vertical niche. Mr. Webb is the founder and visionary behind the current BrightMove ATS product and platform. In addition to his work at BrightMove, Inc., David has worked with designing and implementing enterprise level software systems at companies such as Aerotek, Bank of America, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, and Vistakon (division of Johnson & Johnson).
James Hurff - CTO and Founder
Having designed one of the first online HR applications (Computerwork.com) in the early 90’s Mr. Hurff has nearly 2 decades of experience with HR software space, specifically in the staffing and recruitment vertical niche. Mr. Hurff has designed and implemented large scale software solutions at companies like Bank of America, Citibank, and the State of Florida. James is a strong leader with a focus on quality solutions using industry standards.
Michael G. Brandt - COO
Michael has over 18 years of Human Capital Management experience globally. Prior to BrightMove, Michael has held executive level positions with Vurv Technology and Softscape. Michael was also an early Vurv Technology (formerly Recruitmax) team member having helped design the first Web Based eRecruitment solution with Vurv which ultimately helped to solidify Vurv’s market dominance. Michael went on to run Operations for Asia Pacific for Vurv prior to Taleo’s purchase of the company for $128 million. Michael was also the VP of Asia Pacific role with Softscape and subsequently the EVP of Mid-Market solutions globally before joining the BrightMove team.
