After creating a job in Brightmove, I designated the status as “Open”.  The next day, I received an application via the online career portal that displays my jobs to the Internet.  The career portal an integrated component of my Brightmove account.  I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the applicant had located my job on the popular job search engine Indeed.com.  After a little more investigating, I found out that Brightmove, through an automated internal process called the “job distribution engine” had pushed my job posting out to several internet websites.  In my research, I also discovered that there are other popular job sites that I can register with Brightmove and automate the submittal of all of my jobs from a single central source.

The job distribution engine is a real time saver!

You findings are correct.

BrightMove offers a product called JDE (Job Distribution Engine) at no cost to the subscribers of our standard edition software package.  We automatically post any job that you designate as “Post to Web” to your company careers page and to several “free” job boards and aggregate sites.

For more information on the JDE and how to use it, please visit our Wiki:
