Creating a New Requirement
Getting Started
From the Dashboard, click the small plus sign located just to the left of the “Requirements” option on the left side tool bar. The expanded requirements menu will be displayed, including the “Create” option.
How to Create a Requirement
Click on the small plus sign located just to the left of the “Requirements” option on the left side tool bar. The expanded requirements menu will be displayed. Select the “Create” option. The Create requirement screen will be displayed.
The first step of the process is to select which client the requirement will be with. You may select a client form the drop down menu provides or crate a new client by following the directions provided. Then click the “Next” button.
The second step is to select the appropriate client office from the drop down menu or create a new client office by following the direction provided. Then, click the “next” button.
The third step is to select which contact will be in charge of this requirement (e.g. the hiring manager). You may select a contact from the drop down menu or create a new contact by following the directions provided. Then, click the “next” button.
The Create requirement screen will now be displayed. Be sure to select what type of position this is (e.g. contract, permanent) and to fill in all of the fields including number of openings and length of contract. ALL of this information will appear on your company career website.
Also, don’t leave the bill rate and pay rate screens blank. This information is used to determine profit margin and to create the rate card for the position. Enter the required skills for the position and the optional skills. The internal description is seen only by you and other Licensed BrightMove users. It is not seen on your career website or on job boards. The external description is the one seen by candidates who go to your website.
If you want to associate an exam with the requirement, check the box that appears to the left of the exam from the list of available ones.
Assigning a Recruiter to a Requirement
Each employee who has been assigned the role of “Recruiter” will be displayed under the “recruiter” section of the requirement. To assign the requirement to a recruiter, highlight the recruiter’s name on this list. If the recruiter’s name does not appear on this list, the administrative user of BrightMove at you location will have to assign the employee the recruiter role.
