Dashboard - What Is On It?
Recent Applicants Portlet
The Recent Applicants Portlet provides an interactive drop down list of every candidate who has logged into BrightMove and created a profile, applied for a position, or sent their resume into the system. To view this list, simply click on the down arrow next to the words “recent applicants”. To see the detailed information associated with any recent applicant, click on that person’s name and their applicant profile page will be displayed. There are two sections of the Portlet:
Requirement
The applicants displayed in the Requirement section of the Recent Applicant Portlet have applied for a specific requirement listed in the BrightMove system.
Resume Submittal only
The candidates displayed in the resume Submittal Only of the Recent Applicant Portlet have sent their resume in or created a profile without applying for a specific job.
Expiring Placements Portlet
The Applicants on Expiring Placement Portlet provides an interactive list of employees working on a contract placement where the contract will end within the next 30 days. To view this list, click the down arrow next to the words “applicants on expiring placement”. To see the details associated with any applicant, click on their name and their applicant profile will be displayed.
My Calendar Portlet
The interactive “My Calendar” provides a summary of your activities (planned and completed) for the present day and also past and future months. By clicking on any day on the calendar, the user can navigate to that day’s activities. You can view the details associated with any activity summarized on the daily planner by clicking on it. The My Calendar Portlet is connected to your Planner.
My Links Portlet
The My Links Portlet allows the BrightMove user a place to store their favorite links for quick access. Some examples of links that users may store are e.g. links to job boards or links to resume banks.
To view your links click the down arrow to the right of the word “Links”.
To add a link, click the “New Link” option on the dashboard right next to “Links”. A “New Link” form will be displayed. On that form, add the name of the website (e.g. Dice) and then the actual web site address (e.g. www.dice.com) that you would like to be able to access from the dashboard. Then click the “Submit” key under the form. The link will be displayed on your dashboard.
To delete a link, click on the red “X” next to the link that you would like to delete. The link will be removed from the dashboard.
My Folders Portlet
A folder in BrightMove is similar to a folder in a filing cabinet. It is simply another way for you to store resumes of candidates by group. Folders are useful if there is a specific skill set that you commonly recruit for. For example, if you look for Secretaries who live in Boulder, CO, you may create a folder titled: Secretaries, Boulder CO. Each time you get a resume from a Boulder secretary, you can put it into your folder so that you can easily find that group later on.
The “My Applicant Folders” option lists any applicant folders that you have created. This portion of the dashboard is interactive, and to see what is in any of the candidate folders listed on the dashboard, click on the name of the folder. The list of applicant contained will be displayed.
