Difficulty Level Customization
“Difficulty Level” Overview
The difficulty level is how hard a question on an exam created in BrightMove is. A question could be easy, medium, expert level, etc.
How to Add a Difficulty Level
First, select “Difficulty Level” from the Customization menu. The “Create New Difficulty Level” screen will be displayed. Type in the name of the Difficulty Level you want to add in the provided field at the top of the screen. Click on the “Save” button just under where you have typed the name of the new level. The new level will now appear on the “Current Difficulty Levels” list in the middle of the screen. You may also assign a weight to this difficulty level. If you want expert level questions to be weighted heavily and easy questions not to be weighted as heavily, you can indicate that by typing in the weight% you would like to assign to the Difficulty Level.
To order the list of Difficulty levels so that they are displayed in the drop down menu in the most convenient way, highlight a level on the “Display Order Table”, and then use the up and down buttons to move it on the list. The menu choices will be displayed in the order you set.
How to Edit a Difficulty Level
From the Current Difficulty Levels list click on the level that needs to be edited. The “Edit Difficulty Level” screen will be displayed. Make the required changes, and then click the Save button just underneath the Edit field.
How to Delete a Difficulty Level
To delete it completely, Click on the icon displayed to the right of the Difficulty Level name in the “Delete” column of the Current Difficulty Levels list. To just make it unavailable as a choice, uncheck the box in the “Available Choice” column of that same list.
