The BrightMove Planner
The Planner is displayed on the Dashboard, and gives the user a list of each activity that is scheduled or has already been performed during the current day. The activities come from Client Contact Profiles and Applicant Profiles. There is a calendar displayed just above the current day’s activities that allows the user to choose a different day to view.

Activities
When an activity is entered into a Client Contact profile or an Applicant profile, it will show up on both the planner and calendar of the user who entered it.
How to add an Actvity to the Planner
If an email is sent from within BrightMove (mass or single email), it is automatically recorded in the Activities section of the appropriate profile.
To manually enter an activity into a profile page, click the “add activity” link on the top right side of the activity section. The “Create new activity” screen will be displayed.
Choose an activity type from the drop down box provided. The date and time automatically default to the present date and time, but both may be changed (e.g. many recruiters enter all of the calls they made during the day at the very end of the day). To set a reminder for yourself about this activity or to follow up on it, check the “set reminder” box and enter the date you would like your reminder to appear. Then, enter the text describing your activity in the text box. Once you are satisfied with the entry, click the “submit” key.
The activity will be seen on the calendar and planner.
To enter an activity from the Applicant Profile
If you send an email from within BrightMove, it will be automatically recorded in the Activities section of the applicant profile. To manually enter an activity into your applicant’s record, scroll to the activity section of the page. Then, click on the “add activity” link on the top right side of the activity section. The “Create New Activity” screen will be displayed.

Editing an Actvity
Click on the activity that needs to be edited and the Activity detail screen will be displayed. Click the “Edit” link in the upper right corner of the screen, and then make the appropriate changes. Once the editing is complete, click the Submit button to save the edited activity.
