Timesheets : Who Uses Them & How?
Applicants on Assignment
Any Applicant who has been “Accepted” to a requirement (meaning they have been hired to fill a requirement that is listed in BrightMove), who has also been assigned a user name and password, can log in and enter their hours worked. Applicants can keep track of the hours they work on time sheets, which they then submit. They can log into the BrightMove system using the user name and password that you set up for them and enter the hours they have worked. BrightMove tracks billable hours and non-billable hours (such as vacation or holiday time).
An Applicant can enter hours on more than one timesheet. For instance, if you have an Applicant working 20 hours a week on Project A, and 20 hours a week on Project B, as long as they are “Accepted” to both Projects, they can enter time onto two time sheets.
The Applicant must be on a CURRENT assignment in order to submit time. That means that they must have a start date that is before the first day of the week that they for which they are submitting time, and an end date after the last day of the week for which they are submitting time.
How to assign a user name and password to an Applicant
On the Applicant Profile, you will see a field for both user name and password. These are toward the top of the screen. Select the “Edit” option from the Options menu in the upper right quadrant of the Applicant Profile. In the username and password fields type what you would like the username and password to be the first time the Applicant logs into BrightMove. When the fields are filled in, click on the blue “Submit” button. The user name and password will be assigned to that applicant.
How do I give an applicant access to their time sheet?
Once their user name and password is set up, have the Applicant go to www.brightmove.com and log in using the credentials set up for them. They will see a listing of the projects they are assigned to and the options to add and delete timesheets.
Licensed BrightMove Users
BrightMove users can use time sheets for many things. A common use is billing. You may print the timesheets out and send them along with an invoice to your client. You may also save the PDF version of the timesheet and email it to a client with an invoice.
