Administrators can now list the specific IP address locations they want to have access to a BrightMove account

Some of our customers need extra security only to allow access to their BrightMove accounts from specific locations. In response to their requests, we've added the ability for account Admins to restrict their employees BrightMove use to certain locations.

The IP Address Filter screen can be enabled by Security Role where you can list one or more IP addresses.  Other IP's not on the list will not be able to access the system.

Quickly add another layer of security to the BrightMove platform

Remote team members' IP addresses can be easily updated in your BrightMove Dashboard by an authorized Administrator. However, if someone attempts to access a BrightMove Account through the use of someone else's username and password from an IP address which has not been listed by the BrightMove Account Administrator, access will be denied.

To get started, please go to https://wiki.brightmove.com/display/BM13/IP+Security for step-by-step instructions. If you have questions about how to enhance the IP address security within your BrightMove account, please reach out to support@brightmove.com. If you don't have a BrightMove account yet and would like to schedule a software demoone of our product specialists will connect with you soon!
