RecruiterCast, hosted by David Webb, chronicles the modern recruiting journey each week with in-depth, industry-expert discussions

Saint Augustine Beach, Fla., Jan. 6, 2020 – BrightMove, Inc., a leader in recruiting software innovation, is excited to announce the launch of RecruiterCast, a weekly podcast designed to examine the recruiting industry, featuring advice and insight from influencers and industry experts.

Born from the need to provide a glimpse into the ever-evolving recruitment landscape, RecruiterCast appeals to several audiences - recruiters, job-seekers and employers, offering insight into how workforce hiring trends affect each.

“The employee-employer dynamic continues to change. We are a consumer-driven, instant-results world and that has spilled over into how we build our workforces,” says host, David Webb, CEO, BrightMove. “RecruiterCast shines a light on what employers are seeking in talent, what job-seekers are expecting from their next role, and how recruiters are casting for those parts.”

Each week, listeners will hear from a line-up of industry experts, including HR and staffing leaders, technology entrepreneurs, recruiters and more, with each guest providing insight on trending topics from their point of view.

For the official launch on January 13, 2020 three episodes will be released. In the inaugural episode, we welcome guest speakers Jill Chapman, Sr. Performance Consultant, Insperity, and David Steele, SVP Information Security from a leading financial institution. Episode 1 discusses the role of recruiting and modern business.

“With RecruiterCast, our goal is to offer an informative, eye-opening and entertaining look into the inner-workings of the recruiting world,” shares Webb. “With this insight, we intend to help employers recruit and retain the best talent, help people find the jobs they’ve always wanted and humanize the world of recruiting.”

In Episode 2, listeners will hear from Jimmy Hurff, co-founder of BrightMove and a leading IT leader in the healthcare space. He will share insights on what it is really like to go out on your own and start your own business – and provide a cautionary tale to make sure you know what you’re getting into if starting your own business is something you’re aspiring to do in the new year.

Ken Bedwell joins us for Episode 3 where he talks about how to beat the ATS – is that even possible? Find out that and many other myths about applying for jobs via an ATS. Spoiler alert: the ATS is not a black hole.
